It was a great weekend in McMinnville. We appreciated the chance to spend time visiting with so many folks.

Friday evening, we joined the Warren County Republican Party for their annual Reagan Day dinner. The program recognized America’s upcoming 250th anniversary, highlighted the next generation of Republicans, gave candidates an opportunity to speak, and featured Congressman Tim Burchett as the keynote speaker. We appreciate the work that went into the evening and were glad to be part of it.

Saturday, we were back out early as part of the 15th annual Back to the Strip. Between the cars and the booths set up across Northgate Shopping Center and along Smithville Highway, it was a great day. It is an event that continues to give back in a meaningful way, with $128,355 raised this year to support local families and individuals in their time of need.

The rain came through and cooled things off in a hurry, but it didn’t last. Before long, people were right back out there, the cars kept rolling, and a rainbow stretched across the sky as the evening carried on.

We want to thank everyone who came through and asked for a sign or a shirt to wear while riding the strip. Seeing that support out there meant a lot to us!

And to everyone who spent part of the weekend with us, thank you. We are grateful for your time, the conversations, and your continued support.
